Just watched the X-Games Real Moto show
I didn't plan this, just wanted to watch this show this morning because I woke up early. But this ties in well with the post about rider-made BMX freestyle videos I wrote yesterday. We all bagged on the X-Games in the early years, because ESPN just didn't get the action sports mentality. But that was 20 years ago. The fact that they made a video segment contest is a testament to how far things have come, in FSMX, at least. I've been out of the bike video game for over 15 years, but it's really cool to see how much of a team effort video segments have become between riders and video guys.
Axel's clip was my favorite as well, just off the chain. They all rock, but I really love the clip by Raha, the young guys. Great stuff.
